The Haiti Tragedy
Whenever a tragedy of this magnitude occurs on our planet, we all find ourselves silenced in disbelief.
Everyone remembers the emotional trauma of seeing those killed in the tsunami, and here we are again, dealing with huge losses of life from another lashing of mother nature.
The question that goes around my head, is why does this occur in areas where the poorest and most vulnerable people reside?
I can only answer from what rises in my heart and that is from the bible itself.
Matthew 5.5. 'Blessed are the Meek for they shall inherit the Earth'
In the case of Haiti, this country has been forgotten by the rest of the world for so long. It has the poorest people and the most ineffectual system of government. The people on this island have been effectively abandoned by the world for years.
Until NOW. All of a sudden, faced with so much death and suffering, the rest of the world wakes up to the truth. Finally, they are going to receive attention from just about every country on this planet and you would have to agree, not before time.
It occurs to me that sometimes, where the most deprived and weak members of society exist, mother nature takes a hand and tries to show the truth of a situation.
There is no doubt that many souls will have lost their lives and yet, we hope not in vain. Perhaps this will eventually lead to better lives for those that are left living in this place that has witnessed so much pain and suffering, from every kind of storm, flood, hurricane and quake imaginable. I do remember seeing a recent report about people in Haiti feeding their children mud cakes. Which were exactly that. Mud and water, simply because they had no money for food.
As they go on existing in this dire poverty, we are all so preoccupied with our own lives, that nothing changes. UNTIL NOW.
Let us hope that out of the seeds of destruction, a new light is born for these tragic people. I also pray that they receive all monies that are raised for them around the world, because I am sure there will be millions and millions of pounds and dollars raised. And also I pray that the money reaches those that need it the most and not their corrupt governments, and the days of feeding their children mud come to a close.
For then it will make sense indeed that they will have inherited a new EARTH for their families.

A NEW LIGHT 12.01.2010
I believe our planet is entering a new phase of intensity and this alignment will bring through a tremendous clearing on a major scale. More light will be brought to our planet during this month than has ever before been delivered by the divine angelic realms.
We are already feeling this raising of vibration as so many people are dealing with really intense issues at the moment connecting them with their past. There is often a feeling that they need to see or speak to someone they haven't been able to locate or find for years. There is also a feeling of karmic ties being broken or severed simply by allowing old memories to release.
There are also a lot of people who are finally breaking free of very old destructive self-patterns - some brought over from past lives. But the strongest and most incredible change of all is the awareness being brought about by the financial breakdown around the world. How did it happen and more importantly is it real?
Yet, I believe the real question is not what is going to happen, but what is happening already. If we are experiencing personal karmic clearance then so is the planet and everything that happens here. If money has been used to obtain more money by greed, corruption, deceit and dishonour then it is likely to breakdown, simply because money is an extension of personal energy.
If your personal mantra is or has always been 'ME FIRST', then I believe you will find your world being blasted open in a way you could not have imagined.
And so to the opening verse from Matthew 5.5 - '...the meek shall inherit the Earth.
Could this have been written for now? And are the meek simply those beings who have awakened to their own personal truth that we can no longer simply justify being separate and ignoring those in pain in our world who cannot take care of themselves.
To be meek means to know and to know is to understand that life is precious.
Every last soul on this planet deserves to have the same fundamental opportunities in life. To have enough food, warmth and shelter, these are essentials. To have the right to ask for medical or emotional support if needed, without worrying about how they are going to pay for it. To feel safe to walk in their environment day or night without fear of attack and to always know that there will be someone out there who will care for them, even if they are alone.
Yes indeed, I am sure we have a long way to go to reach this ultimate 'LIGHT' but I do believe we are closer than we have ever been in finding it. Whatever the 12.12.12 brings, I believe it will close the door on an old rhetoric that has plagued this planet for centuries.
Try being MEEK and owning your actions and words. Everything that you share with others has an energy that can be directed with love or fear. Being MEEK is to see beyond what appears to be breaking down and to realise the creativity surrounding what is to become instead.
Being MEEK holds no fear because it knows itself as the peaceful and living light that it has always been. Being MEEK will always offer help but not sympathy because it knows how far you have travelled in asking to receive. Being MEEK makes light of everything because everything is light. Can I suggest that on 12.12.12. we all offer our own MEEKness in surrender to the divine in order to create enough love to make this cosmic alignment a transition rather than a tragedy.
